Reviews arrive after closing
Clients post on the way home or late at night. By the time you see a complaint, it has been on your listing for days.
New reviews, calls and direction requests from Google, plus the things clients mention most, like staff, waiting time or price. Reply to a review by approving a draft in the chat.

In short
LocalPulse for salons is a WhatsApp assistant that sends a salon or spa owner a short daily report on their Google Business Profile: calls, direction requests, website clicks, new reviews and the themes clients mention most. It writes replies to Google reviews and posts them only after the owner approves. Google’s rules let a salon ask every client for an honest review, but not offer a discount for one or ask clients to name a stylist.
Sound familiar?
Clients post on the way home or late at night. By the time you see a complaint, it has been on your listing for days.
Running late for bookings, or a bill higher than quoted, rarely shows up just once. The pattern is hard to spot when you read reviews one at a time.
Instagram gets the attention, but Google counts how many people asked for directions to your salon. Hardly anyone checks.
How it works for a salon
The morning report flags the review. You ask for a reply, check the draft and approve it with the code. An example:
“Loved the haircut, but the bill was ₹400 more than the price I was told on the phone.”
Example review. The business and people on this page are made up.
Good practice
Google’s policy doesn’t allow asking for specific content in a review, such as naming a staff member. Ask for an honest review instead.
A reply that mentions the service they wrote about reads as personal, not copied and pasted.
List your main services in your Business Profile. Prices that match what clients pay at the counter save you an easy complaint.
Asking every client for a review is fine. Pressuring someone to post on the spot, or giving a discount for it, is against Google’s rules.

Google counts how many people asked for directions to your salon and how many tapped to call it from your listing. LocalPulse sends both numbers on WhatsApp every morning, and the Monday summary compares them with the week before.
It sorts reviews by what clients mention, such as staff, quality, speed, waiting, price and communication, and tells you what is praised most and the most common complaint.
